About the exhibit
Comprising the fields of furniture, product, communication, interior, fashion, and interaction design, the Design by Colorado exhibition features some of Colorado’s leading designers and highlights the state’s thriving creative sector, the fifth largest economy in Colorado. Denver International Airport’s Art and Culture Program, Arts and Venues Denver, and Colorado Creative Industries are proud to present this dynamic exhibition of twenty-eight Colorado design studios. Design by Colorado kicks off 2012, DIA’s Year of Design, in which the airport’s exhibitions focus on design, exposing the audience to this diverse and vibrant field.

Exhibit Design and Curation
The participants for this exhibit were selected from a broad call for entries. The selection committee included representatives from DIA, Colorado Creative Industries, Arts and Venues—Create Denver, and the Denver Art Museum. Organized, Curated and Coordinated by Kerri Atter, Jacqueline Connolly, Erin Mulrooney. Exhibition design by MATTER.
