Jason E. Kay Studio creates limited edition furniture for the discerning homeowner. Kay considers each piece a sculpture, designing with a minimalist approach, utilizing recycled materials. With beginnings on the East Coast, Kay traveled the world studying art and architecture in their natural settings before opening his own studio to further realize his passion. Kay believes that being centrally located in Colorado gives him the best of both coasts, allowing his work to be influenced by the contemporary art scenes of both New York City and Los Angeles. His Options Furniture is based on a modular concept that creates unique versatility for the user. “I wanted to create a structure that can be used in many different ways. Several pieces can be made from each unit: a chair, a table, back to back conversational seating, a bench, and even a space to store your firewood.”
