With a background in Architectural Design, John Wilbar has been a self-employed artist, designer and sculptor for the past 25 years. His furniture designs reflect his background in art and architecture and are a balance between graceful lines and structural form. What is unique to Wilbar’s designs is that each piece is one continuous sculptural body which completely changes in form as the viewer moves around it. In addition to his furniture design, Wilbar is also associated with the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center in Pueblo, Colorado, where his work has been featured in solo exhibitions and he contributes to exhibition and set design.
