(shike)design was founded in 1995 by David Schaich (pronounced shike) in Boulder, Colorado. The company, now based in Denver, has established a reputation for its diversity of products, interiors, trade exhibits, and furniture. (shike)’s goal is to provide clear and direct solutions that embrace a “less is more” philosophy while maintaining the value of a timeless aesthetic. Schaich draws on his formal training in industrial design and sculpture to design products for companies such as Bausch & Lomb, Smith Optics, Rock Shox, and Kastle Skis.
